Phillip Davies
managing director & Chairman
As a senior Detective, Phillip set up one of the UK's first Law Enforcement Cyber departments advising business on privacy, risk & security. Moving to the private sector in 2005 Phillip has led privacy, risk & security across a number of businesses, including as Chief Information Security Officer and Advisor to the board. Phillip holds an MSc in International Criminal Justice, is a current Certified Information Security Manager, a Certified Data Protection Solutions Engineer, a Fellow of the Security Institute, Fellow of the British Computer Society & Chartered Institute of IT, Member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2017 Phillip was awarded the Freedom of the City of London.



Michelle Davies

Michelle is one of the co-founders of The Security Consultancy and is a former Regional Manager for an International hospitality business. Michelle runs the business day to day and has a focus on business growth beyond Europe.



Daniel Skeggs

Daniel moved from law enforcement to the private sector in 2009 where he has led Information security operations, architecture design & programs across investment banking, equity management, insurance, health care, media, retail and agro chemical. Daniel specialises in incident & crisis management, governance & risk management & data protection. Daniel holds an MSc in Information Security & Risk Management, is a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Data Protection Solutions Engineer, Certified Information Security Systems Professional & a Prince 2 registered practitioner. Past clients include HSBC, Deutsche Bank, BUPA, Burberry, Dunnhumby, Tesco, Syngenta, Cyberfish & CVC.



TIM CLARK

Tim is a highly experienced IT professional with more than two decades of experience in strategy development, enterprise and business architecture, and the design and implementation of systems across a wide range of technologies. He has worked extensively across the financial services and healthcare sectors where he has specialised in large scale transformation programmes, with a particular focus on digital transformation and cyber maturity improvements. Tim is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and BCS certified Practitioner in Enterprise and Solution Architect.

Addy Verma

Addy is our Senior Legal Counsel with over 14 years’ experience in general legal management, contracts, contentious & non-contentious matters, IP management, data protection, anti-piracy, anti-counterfeiting & dispute resolution. He has also worked in international law firms advising leading brands and business. He successfully initiated & managed unique infringement, enforcement cases across continents with special focus on MENA region, Europe and India. Addy is a member of anti-piracy coalitions in MENA, Europe, North America. He has presented in workshops organised by Interpol, USPTO and other Ministries. Addy is listed by Globe Publication’s World Trademark Review as “Top 300 in-house corporate TM professionals” (2017, 2018,2019 & 2020). He is listed by the IAM 300’s “World’s top 300 IP Strategists” in 2018 & 2019.



Dragan Loncarski

Dragan is a Certified Information Security Professional and has many years experience leading information technology deployments with a focus on security architecture and network infrastructure. He has extensive experience advising on and leading Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).



Christopher Pyer
Consulting Partner - Europe
Christopher has significant cyber experience within industry and law enforcement, with two decades in law enforcement with extensive cyber security expertise ranging from investigating and prosecuting cyber incidents to advising business on opportunities to reduce their exposure to risk. Christopher delivers training and trend updates in cyber security to international agencies on behalf of industry, including over the last two years, Europol, Eurojust and various European Union agencies. Christopher has extensive expertise in investigating cyber-crime, fraud and in leading whistle-blowing and anti-fraud activities. In his spare time Christopher volunteers for a leading UK law enforcement agency in current cyber investigations.



Peter O’Rourke

Peter is a highly commended senior detective. As Director of Intelligence Peter led law enforcement intelligence and was a senior advisor to the UK Government on covert policing tactics. Peter served as a law enforcement advisor to other agencies including advising Albanian government and police in handling serious and organised crime.
Peter later joined the private sector and was engaged by the Federation Against Copyright Theft as their business Operations Director. Peter led the business and developed strategy addressing cyber enabled risk, continuing to advise and work with law enforcement. In addition to extensive business development, leadership and strategy experience Peter has extensive experience leading ethics and compliance across industry sectors.



Alison Coleman

Alison is a highly experienced trainer, facilitator and advisory, she guides business leaders in developing strategy and enhancing leadership and communications. Her clients include local and national government. Alison has extensive experience in the media, broadband and telecommunication sectors in Ireland and the UK, addressing significant financial and fraud risk. Alison holds an MSc from Dublin City University in work and Organisational behaviour.



Cathie Hyslop

Cathie is an experienced information security consultant with a wide range of knowledge and experience in many sectors of security governance and legal conformance.
With over 30 years of experience in this area, Cathie previously worked as the Information Security Director at a global, security focused software company, and has developed skills in the protection of information assets against the threat landscape. Qualified Paralegal with Distinction in Contract Law, and holding a MBA, Cathie is also certified as a CISM and CRISC professional.
Cathie has created Corporate Security Policies and ISMS, developed Information security procedures, processes and systems which have achieved ISO 27001:2013 and PCI DSS certification.
Cathie has created and developed programs to support business in information protection and assurance include Internal audit programmes, Incident Response processes and risk assessment management. From a legal and certification prospective, Cathie has led the management of UK Export Law, with extensive knowledge and focus on cryptographic export controls and regulation, Contract Law in the support of NDA’s, 3rd party Contracts and Agreements, Certification Management in Security related certification programmes (Common Criteria, PCI, ISO 27001) and GDPR programme creation and implementation.



Lee Kent

Lee is an experienced security professional with extensive knowledge of establish and leading programs in cyber security, data protection, and physical security. After a career with law enforcement Lee moved into the private sector and has been engaged in a wide range of security projects. These range from fraud investigations, physical security standards to developing strategies for risk management and breach response. Lee’s experience comes from working with diverse organisations including Broadcasters, e-Sports and the health sector. Lee is an accredited Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP), a member of the International Security Management Institute, and European Union IP industry specialists working group.



Mike Humphries

Mike is an experienced professional with over forty years in the field of Intelligence and Security, twenty two years with the Military, serving countless operational tours with Military Intelligence. More recently Mike returned to advise the Afghan National Security Forces in Counter Terrorism and Counter Insurgency on behalf of the US Department of Defense. Mike has twenty years in the private sector leading risk and intelligence across the Digital Media and Telecoms industries, including developing whistle blowing and fraud strategy. Mike has extensive experience implementing standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and SOX.
